Table Games Dealer School – Part-Time (Paid Training)

Dealer School Begins: February 9th
Students must be available for one of the following sessions:
Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Evening Session: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
The Table Games Dealer School is a paid training program designed to prepare candidates for a career as a Table Games Dealer at WarHorse Gaming Omaha. Dealer school will teach Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, and all Carnival games.
The Dealer is responsible for dealing Blackjack and Carnival table games while providing a superior gaming experience in a friendly, professional environment.
Dealer School Wage: $15.00/hour (Part-Time)
Post-School Wage: $5.00/hour + Tips
Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, Omaha
Deals Blackjack and Carnival table games in a proficient and timely manner
Provides courteous and professional service to all guests and team members
Shuffles cards in compliance with casino standards and controls game pace
Pays and takes wagers according to company policy
Verifies and signs fills, credits, and associated documents
Issues chips for cash buy-ins or credit per company policy
Maintains control of cards, dice, shoe, and float at all times
Reports irregularities and suspicious activity to Floor Supervisors
Ensures accuracy of all paperwork
Accepts cash buy-ins and performs drops per company policy
Complies with all departmental policies, gaming regulations, and internal controls
Adheres to Nebraska gaming rules and regulations
Follows all Company Compulsive and Problem Gambling policies
Maintains flexibility in scheduling based on business needs
Performs other duties as assigned
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong guest service mindset with focus on safety and experience
Ability to pass a dealer audition upon completion of school
Strong math skills
Ability to distinguish chip colors and values
