Compensation will vary based on experience, education level, degrees obtained, and the cost of living for the assigned work location.
Intern employees are classified as seasonal full-time employees and will accrue one hour of paid sick time for every 30 hours worked, beginning after 80 consecutive hours of employment in Nebraska.

The Casino Operations Intern supports day-to-day casino operations by assisting leadership and operational teams with data analysis, reporting, compliance support, and process improvement initiatives. This role provides hands-on exposure to casino operations, guest experience, regulatory compliance, and business performance within a gaming environment.
The intern will complete all assigned summer project objectives and participate in mandatory internship programming, evaluations, and professional development sessions. Remote participation may be permitted with approval from the program manager.
Assist casino operations leadership with daily operational reporting and performance tracking
Analyze operational data related to gaming, guest experience, and staffing metrics
Support compliance and regulatory documentation in accordance with gaming requirements
Observe and assist with floor operations to gain exposure to casino departments and workflows
Assist with process improvement initiatives and special projects related to operations efficiency
Prepare reports and presentations for leadership review
Support cross-functional collaboration with departments such as Finance, HR, Security, and Marketing
Maintain confidentiality of all operational and organizational information
Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
Minimum GPA of 2.5
Must be at least 19 years of age
Strong interest in casino, hospitality, or gaming operations
Ability to pass a background check and obtain required gaming licenses or permits
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and contribute
Valid driver’s license and insurability under company policy (preferred but not required)
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds as needed
Casino and professional office environments
Use of standard office equipment including computers, phones, and printers
Ability to remain stationary approximately 50% of the time
Occasional movement throughout casino and office spaces
This internship is offered with flexibility to accommodate academic commitments. Standard business hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Interns located in Omaha may be required to travel periodically to Winnebago, NE, for professional development sessions with senior leaders and community partners. Transportation may be provided when available; otherwise, interns may be responsible for commuting.
