Dynamic Systems is a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc. that provides facilities management, HVAC/mechanical services, grounds maintenance, and janitorial support for federal, state, local, and Tribal government clients. The company operates under the SBA 8(a) program and brings decades of leadership experience in cost-effective, full-scope building operations. Its team is focused on delivering reliable, responsive service while supporting client goals and long-term property sustainability. Dynamic Systems works in alignment with other Ho-Chunk, Inc. government contracting divisions to provide integrated, scalable solutions nationwide.
The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment across assigned facilities. This role supports daily operations by performing routine cleaning, sanitizing, and light maintenance duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a service-focused team.
Follow established cleaning procedures and daily/weekly schedules
Clean and sanitize restrooms, office areas, common spaces, and hallways
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and perform general floor care
Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
Safely use cleaning chemicals in accordance with training and product instructions
Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, carpet cleaners, and floor buffers
Remove trash, recycling, and waste materials from designated areas
Perform light maintenance duties as assigned
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding tasks, issues, or supply needs
Support the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the facility
Perform other duties as assigned
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal procedures
Ability to operate janitorial equipment (e.g., vacuums, floor buffers, carpet cleaners)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleaning standards
Physical stamina to perform repetitive or strenuous tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Preferred:
Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work
Experience in a medical or specialized facility environment
Ability to lift, push, or carry up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Ability to work with cleaning chemicals and equipment
Work may occur in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, etc.)
Ability to remain physically active throughout the shift
10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. | Monday–Friday
Additional hours may be required based on operational needs.
