WarHorse Gaming is a gaming and entertainment division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., developed in partnership with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA). The company is responsible for managing the expansion of casino gaming at Nebraska’s historic horse racing venues, with properties in Lincoln, Omaha, and South Sioux City. The EVS Attendant I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of assigned areas throughout the property. This role ensures all spaces are clean, organized, and well-maintained in accordance with established standards. The position supports guest satisfaction and property presentation by providing consistent, high-quality environmental services across all shifts.
Practice, support, and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Lincoln
Vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces throughout assigned areas
Maintain tidy and clean hallways, staircases, and floor landings
Clean restrooms, including mopping, vacuuming, and broom/pan duties
Stock and sort supplies as needed
Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, polishing, shining, and caring for glass surfaces
Clean administrative offices and conference rooms
Restock and service restrooms on scheduled and as-needed basis
Clean stains and spills on flooring and carpets when they occur
Safely deliver lost and found items to designated locations
Ensure all cleanliness standards meet 5-star expectations
Perform other duties as assigned
Must be 21 years of age or older
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Previous experience in a resort or casino environment strongly preferred
Knowledge of cleaning products and appropriate usage
Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification
Ability to work independently with strong time management skills
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Work involves standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions
Exposure to cleaning chemicals and standard property conditions
Ability to lift and carry items as required for cleaning tasks
Work may involve fast-paced or crowded environments
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality and entertainment industry, team members must be able to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
