WarHorse Gaming is a gaming and entertainment division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., developed in partnership with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA). The Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing loss prevention and security operations throughout the casino, including the gaming floor and simulcast areas. This role ensures a safe, compliant environment for guests and team members while upholding company policies, regulatory requirements, and security best practices. The Security Supervisor provides leadership to security staff, supports investigations, responds to incidents, and maintains key control procedures to protect company assets.
Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and company regulations
Support and conduct investigations as directed
Supervise and assist in the efficient operation of assigned security shifts
Identify and mitigate risks to company assets, patrons, and team members
Detain individuals when probable cause exists for notifying law enforcement or state gaming officials
Maintain and control company-wide key systems while on duty
Enforce security and safety standards consistently and fairly
Perform additional duties as assigned
Required:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Associate degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
Three (3) years of related security experience
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong supervisory and leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Previous casino resort experience preferred
Exposure to weather, temperature changes, darkness, and secondhand smoke
Exposure to loud noise, chemicals, fumes, dust, cramped spaces, and heights
Ability to work extended hours as needed
Physical mobility and agility with frequent movement throughout the facility
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Requires physical balance, coordination, dexterity, and endurance
Ability to compute basic math calculations
Frequent verbal, written, and non-verbal communication
Regular use of sensory abilities including sight, hearing, smell, and touch
Due to the dynamic nature of hospitality and entertainment operations, team members must be able to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
