About the Role

WarHorse Casino Omaha is looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to help lead our EVS team and ensure our property always reflects the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest service.

In this role, you will support the EVS Manager in daily operations, provide leadership to Supervisors and Attendants, coordinate workflow, and help maintain a spotless and welcoming environment for both guests and team members. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys developing teams, solving problems on the fly, and creating a culture of accountability and service excellence.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and support EVS Supervisors, Attendants, and Heavy-Duty Porters during assigned shifts.

  • Act as the EVS Manager in their absence, assisting with planning, communication, and operational needs.

  • Ensure all public, VIP, and back-of-house areas consistently meet WarHorse cleanliness standards.

  • Conduct inspections of cleaning work, equipment, supplies, and storage areas to ensure safety and compliance.

  • Manage scheduling, staff assignments, and daily task delegation based on business needs.

  • Support onboarding, training, and continued development of EVS team members.

  • Coordinate deep cleaning projects and preventative maintenance schedules.

  • Partner with Facilities and other departments to complete work orders and resolve issues promptly.

  • Respond to guest or internal complaints with urgency and professionalism.

  • Track supply usage, inventory, and cost-effective cleaning practices.

  • Assist with payroll documentation, scheduling, and department reporting.

  • Promote a positive work environment built on teamwork, accountability, and service excellence.

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, WarHorse policies, and state regulations.


What We’re Looking For

  • Must be 19 years of age or older

  • High School Diploma or GED (or relevant experience)

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a high-volume environment

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task

  • Knowledge of cleaning processes, equipment, chemicals, and OSHA regulations

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar systems

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License

  • Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification

  • Valid Driver’s License

Additional Information

This role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, navigating the property, and working in environments with noise, cleaning agents, and varying conditions. WarHorse Casino is a smoke-permitted property, and team members may be exposed to secondhand smoke.
