Dynamic Homes is a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc. that designs and manufactures highly customized modular homes for communities across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. The company specializes in single-family and multi-family modular housing, ranging from two-unit buildings to large-scale apartment complexes. The Wall Crew Member works individually or as part of a production team to complete the interior wall finishes of modular construction projects. This position involves reading blueprints, assembling components, and performing detailed craftsmanship to ensure each home meets Dynamic Homes’ quality and safety standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and work orders to determine wall layouts and opening placements for windows, doors, and air returns.
Identify and gather appropriate tools and materials based on project specifications.
Install, align, and secure wall components and structural elements.
Maintain organized inventory of tools, equipment, and materials.
Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety issues, or material shortages to supervisors promptly.
Collaborate with teammates and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and work orders.
Experience using both manual and power tools safely and efficiently.
Ability to perform physical work, including overhead tasks, for extended periods.
Proficiency in basic math and measurement calculations (length, width, height, and depth).
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds regularly.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Valid driver’s license required.
Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching throughout shifts.
Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, or carrying of materials up to 80 pounds.
Use of PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection, as required.
Full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Evening work may be required based on business needs.
