Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Food & Beverage Outlet Manager
Pay Rate: $15.00/hour Plus Shared Tips 
Status: On-Call (scheduled as needed)


Position Summary

WarHorse Gaming is seeking friendly, reliable, and service-oriented On-Call Food & Beverage Attendants to join our Omaha team. This role is key to creating a great guest experience by taking and preparing orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. This position offers flexible scheduling with no guaranteed set hours, based on business and event needs.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt, efficient, and friendly service to all guests.

  • Accurately take and prepare food and beverage orders in line with recipes and plating standards.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items to provide recommendations and answer questions.

  • Review completed orders with guests to ensure accuracy.

  • Follow cash-handling policies and procedures.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with health code requirements.

  • Support and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming.

  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Previous food service or customer service experience preferred.

  • Ability to use mobile devices and touch-screen technology.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Commitment to guest service excellence and ethical conduct.


Work Hours

  • On-call position; schedule varies with business needs.

  • Flexibility required, including availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.


Licensing & Certifications

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.

  • Food Handler’s Permit, ServSafe Certification, and TIPS Alcohol Certification required (training may be provided).


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and handling of food and beverage materials.

  • Exposure to loud noises, secondhand smoke, and a fast-paced environment.
