WarHorse Gaming is a gaming and entertainment division of Ho-Chunk, Inc., developed in partnership with the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association (HBPA). The Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the casino and facility areas are clean, safe, and well maintained in accordance with established standards. This role oversees EVS team members during assigned shifts, conducts inspections, coordinates with Facilities, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
Uphold the mission, vision, and values of WarHorse Gaming in daily operations
Supervise EVS attendants and porters, assigning duties and inspecting work for quality and compliance with standards
Conduct daily inspections of public spaces, offices, stairwells, hallways, and VIP areas
Ensure cleaning carts, supplies, and equipment are used properly and kept clean
Coordinate and inspect preventative maintenance and general cleaning projects
Submit and follow up on work orders with the Facilities Department
Lead daily pre-shift meetings with EVS team members
Investigate guest or staff complaints related to EVS services and implement corrective action
Issue supplies and monitor usage for efficiency and cost control
Train and monitor new hires, ensuring safe and effective performance within regulatory guidelines
Maintain accurate records, reports, and paperwork related to operations
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of departmental chemicals, cleaning products, and equipment
Perform other related duties as assigned
Required:
Must be 19 years of age or older
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Knowledge of cleaning products and their proper use
Ability to obtain OSHA 10 Certification
Valid driver’s license
Preferred:
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a high-volume property
Prior experience in a resort or casino environment
Frequent movement throughout casino property, including public spaces and back-of-house areas
Regular lifting up to 50 lbs. and prolonged periods of standing and walking
Exposure to weather extremes, dust, chemicals, fumes, loud noise, heights, and secondhand smoke
Requires agility, mobility, balance, and coordination to handle equipment and physical tasks
Endurance for extended physical activity with limited opportunity for breaks
Strong sensory ability including vision, hearing, smell, and touch for inspections and safety monitoring
This is a full-time position. Team members must be able to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet property business needs.
