Dynamic Homes is a division of Ho-Chunk, Inc. that designs and manufactures highly customized modular homes for communities across Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. The Rough Finish Crew Member works independently or as part of a team to install, assemble, and inspect structural components during the modular home building process. This position performs tasks related to sheetrock installation, fireplaces, kitchen soffits, stairways, and door preparation. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Install assigned components within a controlled manufacturing environment.
Review and interpret work orders, blueprints, and purchase orders to identify required materials.
Ensure work meets established codes and quality standards.
Maintain accurate inventory and proper care of tools and materials.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Operate tools and equipment safely while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Maintain cooperative and positive relationships with coworkers to promote teamwork and efficiency.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist teammates as needed.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and floor plans.
Familiarity with construction workflow and production timelines.
Proficiency with core tools and equipment, including tape measure, hammer, drill, saw, nail gun, staple gun, screw gun, and framing square.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.
Ability to lift and move up to 80 pounds regularly.
Comfortable performing physical labor overhead or in varied positions for extended periods.
Ability to apply basic math skills to calculate length, width, height, and depth measurements.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Valid driver’s license required.
Work performed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
Exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
Use of required PPE including safety glasses and, at times, hearing protection.
Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of materials up to 80 pounds.
Requires standing, walking, bending, and manual dexterity for extended periods.
Occasional exposure to variable environmental conditions.
Full-time position, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Evening work may be required based on operational needs.
