Job Title: Accounting Coordinator

Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Coordinator. The Accounting Coordinator will assist in managing various accounting tasks and contribute to the efficient operation of the finance department. The ideal candidate will possess analytical skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of accounting principles.
Another role of the position is to maintain master inventory list of costs and purchases of raw materials in accounting software and perform various accounting and miscellaneous tasks.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems or other accounting software.
Experience with accounting for governmental contracting.
