Job Title: Billing Clerk III

Responsible for the timely and accurate billing for Ho-Chunk, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Generate and upload fixed price and standard customer invoices based on contractual data, deposit and post daily cash receipts, follow up with customers on payment status, and provides backup relief for accounts payable activity. Under general supervision. Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation for unexpected tasks. Work is checked since errors may cause delay or expense. Has a role in working with accounting managers on making billing decisions, crafting work instructions, training and assisting new employees, and revising processes for efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two or more year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
