SUMMARY
As a Marketing and Communications Intern, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in various facets of advertising, public relations, and content creation. Successful Interns will assist with copywriting, public relations tasks, videography support, and more. This internship offers hands-on experience and invaluable insight into the fast-paced world of advertising.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including advertisements, social media posts, and website content.
Assist in the planning and execution of public relations campaigns, including drafting press releases, media pitches, and maintaining media contact lists.
Provide support during video production, including setting up equipment, assisting with filming, and editing footage as needed.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and audience demographics to inform marketing strategies.
Assist with the coordination of marketing events, including logistics, promotions, and post-event analysis.
Monitor and analyze social media channels to track engagement, identify trends, and generate insights for optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all channels.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in crafting compelling content.
Basic understanding of public relations principles and practices.
Familiarity with videography equipment and software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, is a plus.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

EDUCATION
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
