Summary

This position contributes to the company’s success by ensuring an efficient banking structure to support its operations through overseeing operational and strategic projects. As a member of the Treasury Department, the Finance/Treasury Supervisor will support all aspects of the company’s treasury activities. This includes assisting with the development of cash management banking solutions for all business segments of the company, supporting the cash forecasting process, and providing financial analysis to prepare upper management level reporting and decision making.

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Support cash forecasting process.
  • Contribute to the cash management strategy.
  • Evaluate new banking products and services.
  • Analyze, review and consolidate all operational cash flow statements for the organization.
  • Coordinate with management on investments and loans for short- and long-range financial plans.
  • Become a liaison with financial institutions to ensure an efficient banking structure in support of the organization's overall operations and goals.
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of bank account, balance, bank/Treasury systems and bank service costs.
  • Document and maintain treasury policies and procedures for both Treasury Department and company use.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

 Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.  Evening and Weekend hours may be required based on need.

 

Travel

Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area travel may be expected.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration required.
  • Three to five years of managerial experience required.
  • Three to five years of accounting and treasury related experience required.
