WarHorse Gaming is seeking an experienced Team Member Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Lincoln.
This position plays an important role in supporting our Team Members and leaders, with a primary focus on employee relations and workplace investigations. The Team Member Relations Specialist will serve as a trusted HR resource for addressing workplace concerns, resolving employee relations matters, and ensuring issues are handled fairly, consistently, confidentially, and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience conducting workplace investigations involving employee complaints, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, workplace conduct, and other sensitive employee relations matters.
This role will also support Team Member engagement initiatives, events, retention efforts, and strategies designed to strengthen workplace culture across WarHorse Gaming.
Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience is required.
Conduct thorough, timely, objective, and confidential workplace investigations.
Address employee relations concerns involving workplace conduct, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, and other Team Member matters.
Partner with managers and HR leadership to resolve complex Team Member relations issues.
Provide HR guidance to leaders regarding employee relations matters, company policies, performance concerns, and workplace issues.
Maintain accurate and confidential documentation related to investigations and employee relations matters.
Conduct regular meetings with assigned business units to identify concerns and provide HR support.
Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with management and Team Members to improve workplace relationships, morale, productivity, engagement, and retention.
Support Team Member counseling, exit interviews, and other employee relations processes.
Partner with the engagement team to strengthen communication between Team Members and leadership.
Plan and execute quarterly Team Member events and engagement initiatives.
Partner with HR leadership on annual holiday events, anniversary events, recognition programs, and other Team Member activities.
Practice, support, and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Previous experience in employee relations and conducting workplace investigations is required.
Experience handling confidential and sensitive employee information.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
Experience with corporate-level event planning preferred.
Bilingual skills preferred.
Knowledge of applicable employment laws, workplace regulations, HR practices, and company policies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal, conflict-resolution, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive situations professionally, objectively, and with discretion.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and HR/HCM systems.
Ability to travel between WarHorse Gaming properties and administrative offices as needed.
Applicable HR professional certification preferred.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
