Summary
The Human Resources Generalist - Recruiter manages the full-cycle recruitment process while serving as a primary point of contact for employee relations and hiring trends within the retail and construction subsidiaries. This role blends high-level sourcing and talent acquisition strategies with generalist duties to support business objectives across specific industry sectors.
Essential Functions
- Recruitment & Sourcing: Executes full-cycle recruiting tasks, partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to define unique search strategies for the retail and construction sectors.
- Employee Relations: Acts as a consultant and advisor to partners and employees within assigned subsidiaries to resolve workplace issues and foster a positive work environment (Information added per user request).
- Pipeline Development: Proactively recruits passive candidates and develops ongoing pipelines through industry events, conferences, and diverse sourcing channels.
- Candidate Management: Leads candidate screening methodologies and utilizes closing techniques to guide partners and candidates through the offer and acceptance process.
- Reporting & Analytics: Regularly updates recruiting systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to ensure accurate data for business analysis and project tracking.
- Strategy & Collaboration: Leads "scoping discussions" to kick off searches and deploy countermeasures when necessary to keep projects moving toward timely completion.

Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment using standard equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with evening and weekend hours required as needed by the business.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day.
Experience and Education
- 3-7 years of sourcing or full-cycle recruiting experience desired.
- 2+ years of experience with federal contracting recruitment preferred.
- Experience in retail or construction HR/Recruiting is highly preferred (Information added per user request).
- BA or BS degree preferred.
- Professional recruiting certifications are a plus.
